Am I Doing Enough?

I have been struggling with that question. I haven’t posted anything new here in over a week, and I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out what I should be doing RIGHT NOW.

Write something to pitch as a guest post.

Scribble down some ideas for my blog.

Watch how-to videos and tutorials on branding myself; obviously, I should rebrand myself.

Watch tutorials on infographics.

Do your actual writing work that gets you paid.

Fuck it all, burn the house down, and run away.

Or just make cookies.

I have been making lots of cookies, you guys. I was frozen last week. I was so frozen I did not get a single thing accomplished because I was trying to ACCOMPLISH IT ALL!

This post isn’t a list of anything, and it’s not a “how to be more productive” post. I just want to say life happens. Don’t try to do everything. Do one thing every day.

This post won’t get much traffic, but I made a schedule for myself, for the first time since becoming a freelancer, and dammit, I am sticking to it. My schedule says I post today, so I am posting.

It’s not much, just me whining a bunch, but I did reach my goal.

I’ve also been working on my NEW WEBSITE! I am so excited about it. My new page will focus on my fictional and personal writing and won’t be anything business-related. If you like the way I write but hate my content, visit that site. It’s pretty cool.

What site, you say? Well, I’m not quite there yet, but I will post something entirely new to direct you there. This is happening soon, so come back and see me!

Do you have a website you’d like me to check out? Comment below and let me know!
